Japanese give Ploughing the Push
31st October 2012
Dowdeswell sales manager Richard Hicks recently visited the Hokkaido area of Japan to demonstrate the 105 Series Push plough to Dowdeswell Importer, Agri- Direct. This 2 furrow variant of the 3 furrow version which was first demonstrated at Cereals last year was fitted to a 190Hp Ford TM190 tractor which was pulling a 6 furrow DP7J plough.
Owner - Kazuo Oshima and Head Salesman - Atsutaka Okita were very impressed with the output of the combination. As tractor size is limited by field size to some extent this would allow a potential 33% increase in productivity without the need to purchase a larger tractor.
Demonstrations of the 105 Series JMA, an in-the-furrow and on-the-land version of the 105 Series MA also went well with a lot of interest and sales opportunities.
